Ok so its about 2am and I am coming back from the bar. I am drunk and all but nothing can explain what I just saw. I swear to you I just saw something straight out of a paranormal show. I was unlocking my front door and the basement door is diagonal from it. It was wide open and once I got in and the door was closed I turned around and THE BASEMENT DOOR SLAMMED SHUT BY ITSELF. A fully open door slammed shut like a person was blasting it closed. I have never seen anything like this and honestly I am shitting a little in my pants. I recently moved into this house that is like 150 years old and things have recently started to get weird. Last night I was in the basement doing laundry and all the sudden the lights turn off, I went to the top of the stairs and the light switch was off and nobody was around at the time. I am sleeping with the tv on tonight.

That happens at my place sometimes when a leave the windows open. A bedroom door will just slam shut. Something about the wind or something.

otherwise, it sounds to me like you were the victim of a wind trap..... quite common.... recreate the conditions of that night, and see if the same thing does not happen, my belief is that you will experience the same results.... again, this is just in theory, and I am going only on the story that I have read from this particular blog entry..... Please advise....

and his boss had a crazy alcoholic ex-wife who would call up the store and threaten him drunk and shit
she would call the cops randomly saying he beat her, you know the deal...
so anyway this bitch ends up dying in a car crash or something
my brother and some other lady were talking about the lady in a room a few days after the accident at the job
and they were just remembering stories of all kinds of crazy stuff she had done in the past out in public that they saw
and out of nowhere a box that was on the top shelf, up against the wall, straight flys across the room and hits the wall
almost as if on cue like "I HEAR YOU TALKIN SHIT!!!!!!"
the chick started crying and got all shooken up and my bro said it was the scariest shit that ever happened

I try not to believe in ghosts but some shit has shaken me up before to the point of wondering about peoples lives continuing on different planes of existence that science can't gauge yet. or ghosts for lack of a better word.

I am more of a believer in what he said. I know about the wind thing and doors but I immeadiatly tried recreating it last night and it didnt work. Fuck it , i am not as creeped out now cuz i was pretty drunk last night

Yeah, bascially the energy of consciousness has either been kept in the shadows or scientists don't allow any room for God in their theories.
Also, keep in mind, that for most scientists to agree on this subject would mean that most scientists are going to have their existing theories / laws completely shattered. That's a tough pill to swallow.
There are stories way back in the day of scientists that refused to look through telescopes at the universe because they knew it would prove them to be wrong.
