Yeah, South got the golden subject matters...lmao. It's "fuck the subject" nation wide, you need to have T-Pain, Akon or Lil Wayne on your single, rep Fake Bloods & pop bottles to get on the charts

That's not really true.  It's just the myspace/bet/mtv/vh1 rappers who do that.  Alot of artist out in this game use some good sounds/instruments u just have 2 kno where 2 look.  But I agree it vastly outweighs the notoriety of the better music out there (commercial wise).  Like take Wale for example, good live instruments, soulful beats, and creative songs (shits on Talib).  Now I ain't sayin that bcuz the nigga stay not too far from where I'm at, it's just fact.  Alot of artist think they have to make a certain sound for people to buy their music or get attention but that's not the truth- there's just alot of doubt in their minds and alot of blackballin with corporate labels.  But all in all it's balanced you just have to look like I said, it's definatly out there.

lol.  why would you want to send a demo to a label that hasnt done shit since 96?

its obviously not because of the great things the label did for crooked i's career.

The label was probably cracking at the time when he sent this.

Pretty sure Nipsey didn't send this in 1996. And anytime after that doesn't fit your criteria.

I'm talking about when Death Row was making noise such as 03 when Crooked I was ready to drop Say Hi To The Bad Guy or 2005 when Petey just got on.
