Title: Anyone else have trouble sleeping
Post by: herpes on February 23, 2009, 05:07:40 PM
Even smoking a bowl doesn't help put me under anymore.  I've slept 5 hours in the past 70 hours.  You guys have anything that helps.

Nah, drinking to fall asleep.  I used to get a little to reliant on that.  And I enjoy reading, so when I try to read before going to sleep I end up knocking off half the book lol.

sleeping problem? It's possible that something in your life is disturbing you unconsciously.  The problem is you have NARCOLEPSY.

I had the same problem and still do sometimes. A doctor once prescribed me something called seroquel and it knocked me out for like 12 hours everytime i took it so yeah it definetly helped me sleep but it also gave me horrible nightmares and made me turn into a crab ass most of the time so i stopped taking those. Then i tried different benzos which worked most of the time but everytime i needed more more and way more and i just developed an addiction for those which fucked me up the last 2 years big time. Now i take something called celexa which is actually a anti-depressant but it works like magic for me.

Seroquel is a hardcore drug.  How much miligram did he prescribe you?  I work in medical place, so I like to study medications along with people.
When you took that drug... it seems that the chemical being released by synapse vessicle might be unstabled in the middle of sypanse space.

Yea i realize that and probably shouldn't have done it but seeing an overly obnoxious person going talking a mile a minute to begging people to give him a pillow to sleep on the floor in 10 minutes time is priceless

I personally think that u should do natural things to fall asleep and not take pills... Stop watching tv an hour before, drink some hot caffine free tea, take a nice hot bath, wrap urself up in something comfy, get urself comfy on ur bed, dim the lights, read a book or a mag, maybe take some bowls..

LOL.. I have a problem with sleeping too much.. I loveeeee sleeping, I could sleep for 10 hours every night if I could. :P

I usually don't hit the sack til 4-5am, wake up at 9. I'd like to go to sleep with my girlfriend but instead it's usually me putting her to sleep, then going and hitting a bottle or bong, and working on my screenplay, or making beats, or working on my forensic audio business plan, or something else creative. I just get hella charged mentally at night.
