Where the fuck the dude at? If he has any hopes of getting any buzz.. he should do somethin bout it.. drop songs, videos, interviews, mixtapes, announcements etc.. the fuck?
Yeah I know he with them slaughterhouse monkeys.. but they aint goin nowhere..
-
Dude you should realise that Crook gave it up when he stated that BOSS gonna be a free download therfor he dosen't need to create buzz for an album that's coming out for free..
I feel sorry for him cause he's dope but that's the reality - he was trying to put out BOSS since 2004 and even a song with Akon couldn't help him find any decent company where he can drop that album
-
i dont understand why crooked I cant atleast sell the album on digital download, rather than just give the album for free.
i mean, i understand for mixtapes, but for albums, thats when you try to make some money out of it.
i guess if crooked I doesnt mind, then thats cool. ofcourse the fans will be very appreciative of gettin the album for free.
-
Werent they talking about going out to cali and doing a bunch of slaughterhouse songs though? Dude is always grindin, he'll probably drop something cool any day now.
-
I thought he was going to do HHW again? Man, those got me through the year last time he did that, I wish he'd do it again. That was an exciting time.
-
H-A-T-E-R
nigga's recording "No Country 4 old men" this month
fucking losers with nothing better "OMG CROOKED HASNT DROPPED A SONG IN 2 DAYS"
-
Seems like the main focus is Slaughterhouse which they are performing at The Paid Dues Festival next month and are recording a ton of new material with Crooked in Cali throughout the whole month. However, there's word that Crooked got something bubbling for May, but who knows what that is...
-
Can't say much about his solo moves, but I know Slaughterhouse is keeping him busy at the moment.
Budden, Ortiz & Royce are flying into L.A. sometime in early-to-mid March and will be staying there for a month to record more Slaughterhouse tracks at Treacherous Studios. Then while they're recording, like EFFeX mentioned, they'll perform at the Paid Dues Festival in San Bernardino on Mar. 28th.
Slaughterhouse opened for Nas in Detroit a couple of weeks ago at Eastern Michigan University.
Then Crooked did a solo show in Portland a week ago.
And now there's a possibility that Slaughterhouse will be performing in Boston on Mar. 5th at The Middle East Club. The headliner is Budden because it's his Padded Room album release party, but a reliable source at Budden's forum leaked info. that all the members of Slaughterhouse will be performing as well. Joe hasn't confirmed nor denied it, so maybe he's trying to keep a lid on it as a surprise? Who knows.
Last but not least, Joey already mentioned that we'll be getting more Slaughterhouse tracks in March. Wack Emcees is supposed to be the next leak. A hip hop blogger heard it last night while interviewing Royce at DJ Premier's studio in NY and said it's BONKERS. In his opinion its the best Slaughterhouse track so far. The order of the track is: Budden, Royce, Joell, Crooked. So that'll be something to look forward to.
-
I figure the first couple months of 2009 will be dry for hip-hop.
Expect July forward to be a lot of hot releases.
As it was mentioned Crooked-I is probably:
A. Recording with Bishop Lamont & Glasses Malone
B. Recording with Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, & Royce Da 5'9
C. Doing what he have to do
-
What the fuck? If Ortiz, Budden & Royce haven't dropped more music lately... why don't they get this kinda stupid shit too? I'm gonna fuck you in your ear with shit on my dick.
-
Crooked doing his thang. He put out hell of music.HOw ever he is getting old.i know he gotta be in his 30's.But im greatfull man.crooked put out a freestyle every week for 52 weeks, free mixtapes and acapellas.Dude got over 300 songs and freestyles and stuff. How can u hate him.
-
joe budden's pray for me can't be beaten by any song this year i guess.still i hope to get some album of crooked and slaughterhouse
-
It would be nice to drop a freestyle or something.though I'm still bumping that move on track heavily
-

Apparentky not for these so called west coast "fans". You would think it would be better if people on the east coast would know Crooked too.

Hey, im all for this new Slaughterhouse group and im lovin it but there barely puttin out shit, like one song every 6 weeks or 2 months. Budden even said no album from them this year and this year just started so that is pretty pathetic. O well...hopefully a mixtape at least!!!

You make a good point Booz. Crooked humbly acknowledged in the Slaughterhouse interview with LowKey from BET that he feels like he's benefitting the most being in the group because of the biases that East Coast fans/media have towards West Coast artists in general because the West is seen as being lyrically inferior by the average East Coast hip hop fan.
Yet, when Crooked WOW'ed the crowd with his acapella freestyles at SOB's a month ago, he basically won over a whole new audience that wasn't checking for him before. He made a statement that night as a West Coast artist in an East Coast environment.
This Slaughterhouse project is probably the best thing to happen to Crooked's career in terms of the potential of expanding his fanbase outside of the West Coast alone.
-
I think the slaughterhouse is a good look for crooked,it a open him up to more of a new york audience and detroit audeince. Its good proomotion for crooked i.But 2 be honest,i think the slaughterhouse got some good songs but i dont like none of the artist thats in that group, crooked the only one that i like.
joe nudden, joelz, and royce is all garbage to me.So i wont be buying they album.
-
How could you think their garbage?your nuts!to each his own I guess

Maybe for the same reason East Coast people don't check for West Coast?

True enough
