After a long-standing rift between Dipset head Cam’ron and Capo Jim Jones, the former inseparable duo have reportedly spoken.
Cam -who has recently resurfaced into the limelight, breaking his silence in the latest issue of XXL - told MTV News that him and Jones spoke on the phone. “I called [Freekey Zekey's] phone four or five days ago and Jim picked up Zeke’s phone,” he revealed. “Me and him spoke for about 10 or 15 minutes, but me and Zeke speak all the time.” [Watch Below]
The Harlemite said him and Jones may even reunite. “It was cordial,” he said of the conversation. “[Jones] knew it was me. He said we was gonna holla - maybe we’ll put something together. But in the immediate future, I’m just doing Cam. But you never know what can happen down the line. I called Zeke’s phone and I guess Zeke gave Jim the phone to pick up. We just talked, asked about each other’s family. He said he’s on a promo tour. He’d be back soon. That was that.”
While admitting to speaking to other members of the dips, Cam says he has not spoken to fellow Diplomat Juelz Santana. In XXL’s cover story with Killa, he said that him and Juelz had a falling out over the young MC’s alleged syrup addiction. While Juelz denied it, Cam isn’t changing his story. “I’m not going back and forth with him [in the media],” he said. “I wasn’t lying. I was asked a question and I answered it. I’m sorry if he’s upset.”
Cam is currently working on setting up a concert in conjunction with New York radio station Hot 97 to celebrate the release of his highly anticipated comeback disc, Crime Pays in May. Asked if the Dips will join him onstage, he replied “You never know.”
After an original April release date, Crime Pays has been pushed to May 15th. – Elan Mancini

Cam's about to drop a dope album. This joint was cool, but I like "I Hate My Job" better. Cam was showing some diversity w/ that joint, hope he keeps it up.
How much longer till Jimmy and Juelz come back beggin?
