Title: Seahawks sign TJ Houzmanzada
Post by: thisoneguy360 on March 02, 2009, 04:39:09 PM: As a bitter ass Seattle fan who watched practice squad receivers last year this feels great, now we have a solid punch of Branch/Burrelson/Houzmanzada and the fourth overall pick in the draft. Arizona ain't takin the West this year 8)

Seahawks have been a contender for the last several years, I know it's dumb to blame a season on injuries but our starting QB and backup QB were injured, our two top recievers were out most of the season, and two of our best defenders were also injured. Just wait for next season brotha. Oh yeah almost forgot, our injured squad didn't stop us from ruining your Jets playoff hopes last year ;).

I think it was more that his fam lives in LA and he wanted to be on the Westcoast

I'm glad TJ went there. It is closer to his SoCal home. I mainly wished he went to either purple team cause they have a better chance of going to the SB right now. Someone with the Seahawks mainly wanted to get a O lineman & now this gives them the green light to do so.

Exactly, we all know the 49ers are taking the crown this year. Good signing for Seattle, they have the potential to bounce back next season with a decent draft and some injury luck. It will be interesting to see what happens with their #4 pick, they have a lot of options now.
