Spider Loc's long-awaited G-Unit debut World Wide Web doesn't seam headed for stores anytime soon. "I probably got 100 versions of it at this point," he says. Still, he had a busy 2008, putting out a mixtape a month, not to mention his independently released DA 1 U LOVE 2 HATE album. He also starred in a TV pilot called "ROLLERS" in which he plays a would-be college student who pays a nerd to take classes for him while he deals drugs. As usual, however, SPI makes the most headlines for his beefs. He has nothing positive to say about Young Buck, even though the emcee helped get him introduced to 50 Cent. "There were 100 million better ways to handle the situation than the way he chose", he says of Buck's acrimonious split with G-Unit. "For him to get caught crying on the phone lets me know he's not the dude I thought I knew". Loc, a South Central Crip, says he's not active in gang life anymore. The worst part about it was prison, he says, being told "when you can shit, shower and shave". He adds that he has started a nonprofit organization to help bring free computer centers to impoverished Los Angeles neighborhoods. He is cautious about Obama's victory. "It's hard to trust the people running the country, I don't trust politicians on a higher level. Still, it's pleasing to my eyesight. When I see some relief in the economy, I'll learn to appreciate him."
