ORLANDO, Florida -- Manny Ramirez and the Los Angeles Dodgers finally reached common ground in their negotiations, according to a source close to the talks.
After multiple failed attempts, Ramirez and the Dodgers agreed to a two-year, $45 million deal on Tuesday.
The Dodgers announced last week that agent Scott Boras had declined the team's fourth offer to the star outfielder -- a one-year, $25 million contract with a $20 million player option for 2010.
The outfielder is expected to travel to Los Angeles on Tuesday night. Ramirez would then report to the Dodgers' spring training camp in Arizona.
