Title: Reka The Saint - "By My Side" (This is why I love Hip-Hop)

A while back, I dropped some updates on a Queens, NY rapper called Reka The Saint. The initial songs we dropped on DUBCNN - including a collaboration with NY rap staple Ali Vegas - drew a largely positive response. After that, we dropped an interview with the MC, where he delved into his troubled past and shared interesting thoughts on Hip-Hop and plenty other subjects. Peep that here if you missed it:

Now he's returned with what is quickly becoming one of my favourite Hip-Hop jams of recent memory. "By My Side" is taken from his new street album, Track Cocaine. Rest assured, I'll have more information on that on DUBCNN.com in due time. For now, though, check out this track and please share your thoughts on it. This, to me, is NY Hip-Hop at its best:
