Title: A few questions about" Dr Dre Presents - The Aftermath " album....
Post by: dameons on March 09, 2009, 04:58:54 PM
Why weren't "Blunt Tyme" and "Been There , Done That " in the credits booklet ?

Any instrumental available for "Sexy Dance " ( what a waste of a Dre beat ) ?

What happened to Flossy P ?

i know im in the minority, but i love this album.  this album gets unfairly hated on.  anyways, blunt time and been there done that are both in the credit booklet, maybe you are just missing a page.  i doubt theres a instrumental for sexy dance.  dont know anything about flossy p, i wanna know what happened to bud'dah.

I only copped this album on tape cassette way back when, but I remember them both clearly being in the booklet.

I'm prolly missing a page. " Blunt Tyme " was wasted on RBX , but King T's cut was dope. The intro was VERY  dope as well. It has a few more bright spots on it than I first thought.

It was an okay album, it just wasn't on par with The Chronic, which was what people were expecting.

for real... Dopest RBX-joint ever, and a top 5 Dre-production IMO.

Gonna bump it right now!

That's a great beat - wouldn't call it a complete waste tho. It's proof that Dre can do R&B.

RC is all over the unreleased King T album and appears on The Wash soundtrack as well.

I remember an interview on MTV with Dre round '96 where he said he asked Busta Rhymes to do a verse on Fame...too bad it never happened, a Busta Rhymes-circa-1996 appearance would've put the song over the top

definitely not a waste, but yeah imagine Nas & AZ trading verses over it.  It's one of the tracks on the compilation that has become a favorite of mine over time.

Bud'dah is still in the game! He did some beats for Cube's album before last. I spoke with both him and Stu-B-Doo a while back! I also spoke with Wolfe and Glove who worked on both Aftermath and The Chronic. ;)
