I didn't understand the French either... The goalie at the end said (when the subtitles were on) that the referee told him to save the penalty kick, so that the newspapers wouldn't write a lot of shit. Whoever subtitled that shit needs a course in Dutch I had to look up that word 'polemike' because I had no idea what that meant, lol. Long live the dictionary.
