yeah not syain their move to kweli's label wasnt a good move, but they would have been better wit x, they havent really done much without x
but on another note, x is dope and im lookin forward to more restless muzik, which i hope he brings
he in a way admitts that full circle wasnt his best, but more in a professional manner
then again he should be happy he's alive after them bloods ran up on him, they almost took his life

It's not Dre. Look at it from a business view, if he got an EP (six-eight tracks) worth of Dre-produced material, why would he go the digital route with it instead of saving it for an album?
-
yeah doubt its dre
that be dope tho to get some "restless appetizers" from the doctor

LOL first he announces jelly roll a couple months ago now its a secret...RIGHT

Yeah son, I upped that 'Front 2 Back' video on Youtube.
Anyways...
“N****s is just rapping about their clothes and their shoes, we got that. Even if I come out and say something that I feel is important to me, hopefully somebody else can relate to it. But I’m not going to follow the leader. I’m not going to follow the trends, that ain’t it. I just got some real s**t to say, as usual.”
That sounds promising.
Also I like what he said about the Hollywood and rapper's acting, becuz I never heard somebody call them bitches out. Hollywood just exploits them, and they go for it, cuz the skrilla. They just need a thug and they want a big name to attract the people. Least X put that shit out there, for real.
I hope he starts bustin' out songs like he did on 'At the Speed of Life' or some dark grimey shit. Word up. I ain't gonna front, I wasn't big into his last album, and I like X's discography, so hopefully his next album goes hard. Word up.

IMO restless is his best
that album is crazy and one of westcoasts best

Am I the only one who thought Weapons Of Mass Destruction was a big letdown? Aparty from a few tracks, the beats on there were horrible

Great read.

Good read!
Now this will be a big Step for Xzibit releasing his 7th album...and properly (spend more than 2 months, touring, no Pimp my ride, and a slight absence from the game due to persoanl issues). Looking forward to it.
Xzibit should be up there when people mention Snoop, Game, Dre, Quik, Ice Cube running West. Appart from Snoop and Game (And groups such as Eastsidaz) Correct me if Im wrong, but I think Xzibits the last Platinum artist before them. Wow...assuming Im correct in that statement, in 8 years Only 3 West artists go Plat.
Anyways, getting side tracked, can't wait from some more Xzibit/Jelly Roll tracks. Two work well together.

I thought that too, weakest xzibit album imo,
I really like xzibit, hes still a raw mc, theres not many nowadays
-
Hmm I'd like to hear X do something with Battlecat. But outside of maybe Dre, quik, Daz, Warren G who else is considered a 'famous' west coast producer?

Only problem is that he got crappy beats lately. Some of those beats just sound so irritating you don't even wanna listen to the song. Thank You & Family Values are the only songs I still keep on my playlist from his last album.

can't wait for any new X music...

Yes i agree, even if i like some stuff from him, he's not consistent about productions.
Dr. Dre will be the best but I don't dream it will not happen (or the tracks will be used for his next album), I would see Battlecat on it. 8)
