In 10 years Hip-Hop will belong to the kid's 100%
Our ears won't be able to take it anymore..
(Us OG's who started with this in the 80s will go back to our root's)
(This our last decade to bump the remaining years of our "official" youth)

I mean shit is happening right now!
Turn on the radio!

The Funkadelics/Parliment's Marvin's, Al Green's ect..
& our "Gangsta Shit" will always be on the playlist, tho we won't hear it quite as loud any more.

the real question is: where is THE MUSIC INDUSTRY going to be in 10 years?

and my answer to that is: everything will be digital, CD's will no longer exist  :'(

that means you could have started in the late 80's (?).... I got into Hip Hop late 83,but then again I'm turning 38 in a couple of months.

but people barely even buy albums anymore.

i am sure there will be CD's (thats a business in itself), but the quantity of CD's that stores will hold will be less & there will probably be more online downloading, etc.

because only people on the net know about the label & the artists dropping albums, so why waste money making CD's people dont even know are coming out?

smart move, but this will grow in the next few years.

The kids who listen to the radio now are going to be on this site complaining how shitty the music is and how it was so much better in the 00s.
