Fresh from calling 2Pac a cunt (I'll do it again in this thread, so help me God), I thought I'd hip the hipper heads here to the fact that Common Market have a new EP out, Winter's End. Digital only, so no hard copies for you old schoolers.
I had no idea it had dropped and guessed that maybe some people here didn't know either. If there was a mention of it, I must have missed it among all the threads to do with ten-year old unreleased shit sandwiches from Death Row and West Coast no-hopers.
Anyone not listening to Common Market: you have failed in your duty as a hip-hop head. Epically.

You know what I hate? Elitist hiphop heads (like you Lord Funk) who can only like underground shit and tell others they have "failed" for doing ______________. Such bullshit. And how the fuck is 2pac a "cunt"? Maybe some of his obsessive fans are, but his music (especially MATW) was incredible. SInce his death, his catalogue has been watered down with a bunch of shit, not his fault. And dude was conflicted, yes, but still one of the best ever.
So, onto COmmon Market. My SECOND FAVOURITE group right now next to Blue Scholars. Lord Funk IS right on one thing: ya'll are missing out. THe production is :o, and the lyrics actually have some substance. I could see how it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I can also see that MANY peeps on this board would love this shit if they gave it a chance.

No worries man, I'm not trippin and its dope that you are trying to shed light on such a dope group. My bad. I just find most peeps on here are either str8 gangsta'd out or strictly underground, and I've never understand that shit, as good music is music to me.
But i think its kinda weak it only has 4 songs plus an instrumental, how about you? THey got a full length coming? I was hoping they would've included Tobacco and Snow COvered Roads on here as I have never been able to find the MP3 (just keep listening to it on Youtube)
