Wow, this is the same beat from Capone & Noreaga "Our Way" off QB's FInest album.
Either Scott Storch originally play the keys or he jack it later. Lol. I say jack cause I don't think Scott Storch was down with Dre when that song was made. well I'm wrong he played on 2001.
THe keys are just moved up 1+ transpose or so,b ut same EAXCT keys. Dre Drum is different on there.
Listen to CNn's song hear. (it sounds hotter)

Yall didn't hear the Scott Storch version above? That joint sounds harder than Dre's joint. Dre great but Storch killed the CNN version.

harder doesn't mean better. I like the Dre version better because its more chill.

Yeah this joints dope aye, anyone know what it was initially made for?
-
yeah heard this a while ago, shits dope
damn hittman is mad dope
sad dre didnt put him on
hes got some bangers
-
sad dre didnt put him on
If i remember right it was Jimmy Iovine who "rejected" him.
-
thats expected but IMO DRE havin put him on 2001
that was like a first step that went well
then from there he should have built his career (with dre's help)
hitt is mad underrated and better than 90% of the rappers on this coast and other regions
(on some lyrical type shit)
sad dre didnt put him on

He was prolly too old and not marketable at the time
