Title: About the Crooked I album "Say Hi To Tha Bad Guy" that FTPE are selling....
Post by: TupacNation on April 02, 2009, 08:16:06 PM
I just got word that this has been mixed and tampered with by FTP aka Am7/101/John Hyland.

By that I mean hes added sound vocals and sound effects to change the beats so that nobody but he will have the original recordings.

Support Scam7 if you must but dont say I didnt warn you.

lol, he does look like a lobster/wannabe and that youtube vid is funny. But I havent seen Nino post on any forum in about 4 years. The last time I think was on the old ThaVaults site when he was 98Ways. So i dont understand why people diss him still. Hes a nobody, doesnt leak any rare tracks, doesnt do shit.

I just want SHTTBG to leak from DRF/Loss Skanless.

Someone got to leak it or something, I'm dying to hear this!

It doesn't seem like anyone is willing to cop. If anyone has it, just take a loss and leak it for the fans.

I'm trying to avoid Crooked "SHTTBG" threads.
brings back to many memories... of the DRF/Los Skanless Situation.
(That was the closet we ever got to hearing track's from those sessions)

Maybe someday?  :-\
(Just leak it, U will feel better for it)

They'll be waiting for a long time. At this point, they're better off tracking down five or six "fanatics" with deep pockets or some other bootleggers and sell it for $500 a pop. Like I said, they got their game backwards.

What makes you think something like that hasn't happened yet?

I think they are trying to make as much money as possible.

There's so many fanatics on this site though, I'm surprised they haven't moved 100 copies yet.

Who knows, but last I heard they weren't anywhere near 100 copies.  I think all because of how bad they handled shit the first time.  Jimmy H. is probably right.  They're more likely to sell a few copies at a much higher price than they are to get 100 casual fans to buy at the current price.  I think a lot of people are on the fence with this one.  Probably if they could provide some assurance that eventually everyone would get their copy, more people would be willing to buy.

Once "Hoodstar"? (Or whatever it's labled as) hit's stores on the 18th. It will be one less in their hands.

Speaking of which, I can't seem to find any mention of this WIDEAwake release on any music retailers site... Anyone got any luck? They better not have hyped us up for no reason.

Yeah, that guys basically their "premier" artist, but with April 18th around the corner, this Death Row thing isn't even in "coming soon" slots.

BTW: I watched a video interview with Lara Lavi and John Payne about a month ago at the Canadian Music Week and they are talking a good game, but have zero presence on the net whatsoever except that one website that never gets updated, just has the Death Row press release.

nah that was goin to lead to my next input bein
its crazy how so many "labels" who werent even known last year came outta nowhere and were promotin all the death row muzik that they were goin to start sellin it
but from day 1 it all seemed fake

none of the death row muzik has leaked or been sold right?

Well, if you are hinting that they don't really own the material, that's not true, they really did buy the whole package for $18 million, but they seem to be trying to come up with a game plan. By the way, they have spoken to Crooked I and Petey Pablo... and I think I heard Danny Boy, but I'm not positive about that.

I just think that they are taking it slow. Fans want it released right there on the spot, but realistically, they are probably going to master material, compile albums to make the best product possible. They want to put these albums on store shelves not sell them on eBay, feel me?

Word... I appreciate that homie.

I feel exactly how you feel and not just about the Crooked I material, the whole deal with the Death Row material. It seems like there are so many bumps in the road and a end zone is never reached.

They just keep stressing that they are about the artists and the fans (and obviously the money) and it's not about Suge and the old drama so hopefully they can make it happen. I heard that they have plans to meet with Pac's people too and get their blessing so I'm hoping they can make it happen.

I trust John, because he was a Death Row co-founder. He was one of the original engineers for Death Row/Godfather Entertainment in 1992. So, I trust him and his word. We'll see how everything goes.
