im pumped, i would be a little more pumped if i was drunk and walking into the stadium right now, but i wasnt about to pay 125 for ehh seats, i should got em well ahead of time, but anywho, i cant wait, 30 min, im just gonna hit up the bar and do it big, sucks hamels aint starting, he better get back to shape , but yea its so nice that baseball is back
-
My life has purpose again.
-
Been waiting for this day for a while 8)
I can't make the Jays home opener tomorrow night (it's Halladay vs. Verlander) but I'm going to Tuesday's game.
-
just added Jeff to my fantasy team. ;) ;D 8)
-
Phils getting killed.
-
well that sucked, and boring ass game in general
-
IS IT FUCKING TUESDAY YET!!!!!!!!!
Giants opening day is tuesday, getting fucked up drunk and watching baseball, the life!
-
the Yankees better get there game in at 4!
well that sucked, and boring ass game in general
Lowe pitched a gem, not much they could do.
but the Phillies made it interesting in the 9th, until Howard looked like a moron on that 3-2 fastball. :P
-
will Johan's first potential win be blown??
wouldnt be all that surprized, but we'll see.
-
I'll admit to only being a moderate Baseball fan (BIG sports fan in general so i'm a baseball fan but it's probably my 5th fav. sport) and don't have expectations for the Jays season
BUT will also admit i'm really looking forward to watching the game tonight!

i have Roy on my fantasy team & i am looking forward to that as well. ;) 8)
:o OH SHIT, it's Yankee baseball time! THE 09 CAMPAIGN BEGINS! 8)
DONT DISAPPOINT CC! :-X :-X :-X
-
CC scared the shit out of me in the first inning, but i think he should settle down.
he hasnt been able to locate his fastball.
Mets got a win, suprize, surprize (litterally ;D). Johan's win wasnt blown & the bullpen did what they should be doing.

ouch, ugly ass start for sabathia, yanks gonna have to work hard to not get embarrassed, let alone win
-
i am disappointed, but its only opening day (NICE RIP POSADA! JUST HAPPENED! ;D 6-2) & C.C. walked 5, thats pretty bad.
i said he wasnt locating his fastball after 1, so ill give him a second chance in his next start.
i mean it could be worse, we could defending champions & lose our home opener with a 45 year old on the mound & have the heart of our order 3 lefties in a row, that cant hit left handed pitching, but it isnt that bad for us yet. ;) :D
(Nady just hit a double! Cano scored; 6-3! 8))
so given a few off days & times that we face All-Star aces on staffs, we should score 5 runs every game, at least (esspecially when A-Rod comes back).

Myers isnt 45, thats moyer

LOL GODAMNIT! :-[
why did i think Moyer was on the mound last night? i will never know lol.
but yeah, didnt really mean that; im just pissed lmao. :P
-
still pissed?
-
CC looked like crap ;D but the Skanks are chipping away.
-
still pissed?
after that homerun i am; i really thought we had a good chance of winning this game, which i would have laughed about for months & still will if we win, but it will be tough to pull this one out now. :-\
overall (up to this FUCKING homerun), i was pretty impressed with how we played, concidering our ace (who will pitch MUCH better as the season progresses) had a SHIT outing, with no command of his fastball.
we fought hard to come back & cut it to one & if Tex could fucking hit the ball we could be winning this game; but he'll come around.
its going to be a good season. ;) 8)
-
CC bombing and Tex doing his best GayRod impression.... I love it.
-
What does spending 75 million a season on three new players get ya..... an opening day loss to the O's lol.
-
2 runs off a guy who was 6-17 last year with a 4.78 ERA?
not to even get into the fact if the best pitcher in all of baseball wasnt on the mound i would bet hundreds of dollars they would have scored a lot more...
Tex always has a slow april, i was hoping he would just break out this season, but patience will be KEY with this team.
we get A-Rod back & everyone moves down a spot in the lineup.
that would mean Nady is our 8 batter and he had 97 RBI's last year! :o
show me another 8 batter with 25 homers & 97 RBI's lmao!
i would be impressed if Delgado had 97 RBI's this season LOL.
-

The Mets don't need to score a lot of runs when Johan Swagtana is on the mound.

so you think the Mets scored two runs & said, "ahhh thats all we need, just relax"?
thats all they could score, for there sake i hope they score more when that MONSTER Pelfrey is on the mound. :D

Pelfrey had a great season last season. YOu take away his first month an a half dude was a legit number 2.

we'll see come wedensday. ;)

-
y'all like that matt kemp/james loney clinic don't ya!?
-
Thank God it's Baseball season already.
-
Oakland hasn't won a season opener in five years. Fuck my life.
-
fuck yeah!!
peavy who? ;D
kemp gonna have a BIG BIG BIG year. less strikeouts, more homers, more rbi, more steals. cheaa!!! :bandit:
DODGERS off to a great start off one of the best pitchers in the game. kuroda looked really good out there. he should have a much better year this year, and it wouldnt surprise me to see him become a very good #2...hell...maybe even a #1 on some teams.
GO BLUE, NIGGAZZZZ!!!! :bandit:
-
^ I saw the first 4 innings...
if we can stay on top of getting hits with 2-out the offense is gonna hold it's own
I remember last year they had a real problem driving guys in with 2-out
-

2-15 total with your new big bats?
ouch. :-\
congrats Dodger fans, big win vs. the MIGHTY Padres. :D
-
I couldn't be happier with the Jays' first game. The offense came out firing and the kid Snider got himself a couple extra baggers including a homer (he's gotta get out of the 9 hole). The pen came in and picked up where they left off last year and were lights out. Halladay got lit up a little but that's nothing I'll lose sleep over, he'll have a great year no doubt.
Got tickets to tonight's game, hopefully I'll see more of the same.

oh I am ready alright!...

Opening day at Dodger Stadium cant come soon enough!

Chen-Ming Wang is going tonight! 8)
what a great pitcher, pretty underrated in the eye of baseball.
-
Phillies are making it exciting here in the 7th; too bad its not the Philly bats, but the terrible pitching of the Braves lol.
either way, great game in the process.
-
wow this game is sick! :o
what a comeback by Philly! :o
-
Chen started off bad tonight, but he was leaving the ball right there; he's got that sinker down & he is dealing now, nice. :)
the bat needs to come around now, esspecially Tex's.
once we get Uehara out of the game, hopefully around the 6th (although were starting to tee off him); we will have them right where we want them (if we dont already take the lead by then). ;)
feeling good so far. 8)
also, my fantasy team for Dubcc is so fuckin nasty! i love it! 8) 8) 8)
