Not much. I think DJ Quik should leave music and become a kindergarten police or a priest.

yup. half of what we heard is really dope, the other half is meh at best
I don't like quik's delivery on these tracks though. hes using this really high delivery/emphasis on words and it doesnt sound right

Im a big fan of both Quik (my favorite producer) and Kurupt since they first came so my opinion is strickly coming from a die-hard fan point of view; I'm really looking forward to this album. I think "hey playa" and "fuck yall" are both tight tracks, they have some off that classic Quik production which is what you'd expect from this album; if the rest of this album is like these tracks we might be in for a classic or near classic album. On the other hand, "watcha wanna do" sounds like it wasn't even produced by Quik (hopefully it wasn't), it sounds like that throw away song that you'd expect one of them dime-a-dozen rappers to put out as a fake hit song, Quik and Kurupt can do so much better than that and it is evident on the other two song i mentioned before; if there are more of these type of songs on the album I think long time Quik and Kurupt fans will be disappointed (they should just leave it off the album completely, not even as a bunus track). I'm still really anticipating this release though, I haven't been looking forward to an album this much since Quik's Trauma (didn't care for The Fixxers album, again because of the sub-par, un-Quiklike production). If they stick to what made them both legends in the westcoast and rap period then I think we're in for a dope album, but if they want to please a new group of people and not their long time fans then we're gonna be let down hard because aint no DJ Quik and Kurupt fans trying to hear them sound like someone else production wise or lyrically when you already know what they are both capable of...Classics!
