i mean i know that Eminem learned some of his production skills from Dre,
but he got his own sound.
however, if this track had leaked today + it was tagged with Dre's name and i didn't know it was done by Eminem,
i may have actually believed it ;)
especially the guitar part would have convinced me ( not that it's a Dre trademark, but i think he would have chosen a similar melody).
not to mention that i think that it beats the actual work of Dre on The Massacre; i wasn't feeling Dre's stuff on there.
-
Hi-Tek's beats killed everyone on The Massacre.
-
wheres the guitar in this?

wheres the guitar in this?
have you listened to the whole track?
-
dre day get off his nuts for a minute
-
Dope track. Aside from a couple tracks The Massacre goes hard.
-
Did Eminem just lip sync word "nigga"?
-
there best freinds forever lol.
Eminem makes some dope beats, not many, but some.
i think this is a dope beat though. 8)

no doubt, gets ZERO credit. :grumpy:

ohhhhh noooooooo! get the homies on him! :P
i thought "nigga" is an acceptable term to be used by all?
but where do you see this? give me the time in the video.

bass guitar?
no, but i understand it wasn't easy to notice as the part doesn't play every few seconds.
the guitar part that i'm referring to is only played during the chorus if i'm not mistaken
-
I heard a high pitch for like 1 second, not sure it was a guitar though.

probably, because it's very short

Dre only produced 2 tracks off the whole album...not much of a competition to "beat"

i know, but that doesn't make it an unfair comparison
-
the bass is pretty tight on this track but the cheap sounding, shortened snares are a staple of eminems production.
-
outta control remix was my fav thing from the massacre

yes you were lmao.
that song was DOPE! & the OG from the album was a straight BANGER! 8)

the remix is a CLASSIC dre beat. laid back banger and better than anything we've heard from dre in years (except perhaps imagine). strictly speaking it wasn't from the massacre, just on the rerelease and as a bonus on the mobb deep album. if 50 wasn't such a bitch it could have been their single.

No doubt, gets way too much hate
-
I've actually thought that this track was produced by Dre until I saw this thread. :D
I guess you learn something new every day.

he actually says it in "What's The Difference" on The Up In Smoke Tour DVD

That Em beat is tight. Em deserves more credit for his productions..he's better than ur average producer. My fav Em beat is "Lady" from Obie's album 8)
