If you can't name the sample on the first track, you live under a rock. The original is on some grimey mafioso steez & the remix is almost better IMO. What's dubccs opinion?

I have still never been disappointed by that Godfather interpolation. Thanks Bundy.

props Bundy, I don't believe I have both of these

What year is this from? Sounds very Hell On Earth-ish

The remix was released in 1997 on Cormega's The Montana Way bootleg. The OG I have no idea.

Yeah, such a great song (s). I spent a good chunk of change and a lot of time trying to get a hold of the original vinyl Crime Connection was released on and when I finally found it.... original white label, awful quality, EXACT same as the mp3 version that's been floating around the internet for a decade. So disappointed, eh.

The worst part is it's a Cormega song, and he had the opportunity to release it on The Testament (the album it was recorded for) but he kept it off for god knows why. He kept this, Mega's On His Own, Mega Funk, Never Personal, Take Mine, and who knows how many other ridiculous tracks off for whatever reason. I emailed him telling him how much of a mistake it was, as well as him releasing the Testament unmastered and UNMIXED! and he agreed saying a lot of people have been telling him it sounded bad. He said he was going to re-release it because of the poor quality but that was over a year ago and I haven't heard anything about it since. Maybe I'll write him again.

Probably couldn't release it due to the sample? I don't think that's the reason though, seeing as I know of songs that use the same sample and were released on retail.

^ Yeah, not sure.
I know Mega's done some tracks with Havoc and Prodigy together more recently that he said he wont release because they didn't "sound good enough" but I think there is probably more going on behind the scenes. Or at least there was...
Shame though, I'm deff going to email Mega that song needs to be put out.
