LaMarcus Aldridge

06-07   POR   63   22   22.1   0.503   0.000   0.722   2.3   2.7   5.0   0.4   0.3   1.2   0.68   3.00   9.0

Chris Bosh

06-07   TOR   69   69   38.5   0.496   0.343   0.785   2.7   8.0   10.7   2.5   0.6   1.3   2.59   2.40   22.6
07-08   TOR   67   67   36.2   0.494   0.400   0.844   2.6   6.1   8.7   2.6   0.9   1.0   2.28   2.30   22.3
08-09   TOR   72   72   38.2   0.488   0.250   0.818   2.7   7.2   9.9   2.4   0.9   1.0   2.24   2.50   22.7

Do not get me wrong I would say Chris Bosh right now is the better of the two but I would take Lamarcus if I were an NBA GM.

i think it depends on the team around the big men (which is always the question when dealing with a question like this).

i think i would take Bosh regardless, but Aldridge is a beautiful fit on any team of mine. 8)

From a financial standpoint I'd take Aldridge,  Bosh thinks he's a max-money player and would want to be paid as such, Aldridge knows he isn't but still produces well compared to Bosh.  Aldridge is also a better defensive player. Don't get me wrong though Bosh is more talented than Aldridge.

Some good points! Yeah Bosh is a great offensive player but a terrible defender, Aldridge is efficient offensively and is a pretty good defender.

i wouldn't say bosh is a terrible defender i think the Olympics proved he can be good, it's just toronto's perimeter player are so slow on rotations and allow so much penetration that their bigs get torched.

I'd take Lamarcus over Bosh without a doubt ...  Lamarcus arsenal of offensive moves is very impressive after only 3 years in the league , he's automatic from mid-range and he's a decent defender .. his potential is very interesting .. Bosh great numbers make you think his overall influence on the game is a lot more important than it is in reality ( ala Melo) ... without mentioning he's a HORRIBLE Defender

good point ... but even Luke Walton would have looked like a good defender in the USA team defense ... I agree that Bosh definetely contributed to this team D .. my point is that he is a terrible individual defender
