Had a good game, did better as the game went on. I'm glad his getting that rust out now. Hopefully we'll be 100% for the playoffs.

Bynum looked fresh out there in the second half. As if teams didn't have enough to worry about, they now have to face the Lakers with a well rested starter.

Nobody is fuckin with us when we have a healthy roster ... with Bynum back we can put different fives on the floor again ... I'm glad Phil finally starts thinking D by inserting Shannon in the rotation ... would like to see stretches with the following 5 : Brown/Kobe/Trevor/Lamar/Drew .. you throw D and athletiscism at the opponent at every position ...

22 points last night for Bynum... looking good

Odom does a lot better when he's in the deep shadows of other players

when he was the #3 option it was up to him to be the factor and he couldn't always come through

now that he's in the backseat again he quietly chips in 15 points and like 8 boards

add to the bonus that Bynum brings to the table, it's exactly what the Lakers need to get over teams each night

I can't believe how dumb some people were around here to suggest that they get rid of Bynum because they're good without him

without him they definitely have a lot more holes in their game.... he's not phenomenal, but the extra effort on top of everyone else can't be overlooked

shows how much some people know basketball around here..

kinda hard to beat the "no name"  detroit pistons who boasted of richard hamilton, billips, rasheed and ben wallace, okur, tayshaun prince, and two former players who knew our system when we had a clearly no pf or small forward contribution and our only reliable point guard was on tender feet. i'm sorry Shaq could only carry that team so far, with the help he was getting.

^  they got their ass kicked fair and square and I remember Kobe having a bad series other than the game winner in Game 2

I'll always think it would have been different if Malone didn't get hurt because he didn't even play the Finals

anyone who watched the Lakers that year, especially every game, knows that Malone was the factor in getting to that point through the playoffs

he was the key player who shut down the top scorer(s) on the opposing teams

when he went down it was a major hit to the team defensively and you had weak players taking his spot like George, etc. who have no balls

any sesible fan would tell you they were concerned

I remember watching Game 1 and seeing how lazy they came out from the jump like they were so sure they had won and the Pistons made them pay, set the tone
