LOL!
i would have to say Rick Ross is the definition of great beats being wasted on a shit rapper.
-
Young Jeezy.
Seriously everyone of his albums have been around 9/10 beat wise.

The List Can Go On & On But I Agree.

but 50 killed beats on GRODT & The Massacre; but i guess Curtis was poor; even though My Gun Go Off was a great song, so i dont see how it would qualify lol.
-
all the great QUik beats for his wack camp ;)
-
ohh Tony Yayo! :o
Thoughts of A Predicate Felony had BANGIN beats, but Tony didnt really come through.

ok, I agree that song wasn't that bad, I had to listen it again to be sure.

nah obie is dope and what they gave him, he did a dope job of makin heat out of it

Damn, Curtis wasn't that bad.
After hearing Lupe spit on Where I'm From I believe it was wasted on Game. Lupe brought that track to whole another level.
Agree about Tony Yayo.
Rick Ross lies have ruined his lyrics but his voice matches the beat so I don't know if I can agree.
I don't think this too often though. I often think artists get what they're capable of working with.
I often wish and think what if certain artists had better producers and some coaching on song structure and vocal usage. For example, I think Immortal Technique would be the best in the industry if Dr.Dre or Just Blaze helped him on his craft. Even though I don't think he needs it as much I also think the same for Crooked-I.

Cheers was fucking AMAZING & then 2nd Round was almost equally as good.
Cheers was carried a bit more on features, but the songs were so dope.
2nd Round Obie came more solo & still held down a great album. 8)
cant wait for some more Obie!!! ;D 8)
