Title: Lil ½ Dead
Post by: Okka on April 21, 2009, 01:14:46 PM
I don't know if this thread has been made already, but since is gonna be summertime soon and these two albums are perfect to bump while it's hot, i decided to make this poll. Both albums from Lil Half Dead are great and i consider them classics, but which one do you like more?

And just in case you have been livin' under a rock or somethin, and haven't heard these classics, ya need to check out the "you know what" spizzot.

i love both albums. straight gfunk classics!
but if i had to chose which one is better, then i think TDHA would slightly win.
both albums are incredible tho.

lil half dead raps, and does dope ass hooks too.

total trak productions produced these 2 albums.
would like to hear more total trak beats for other rappers aswell, and it would be dope as fukk to get another lil half dead album produced by total trak, or atleast some tracks produced by them.

Weird ... I always thought Steel on Mission was way better , at least beats wise ... Steel on Mission , Back in the Day , Givin it up or Cavy sounds are off the hook

I really like both, i own both, must admit i slept back in the day and paid top dollar for both on e-bay.
I voted Steel on a mission, i definately like that one better.
And yeah, Kokane and lil HD was on wrong idea.
HD did the chourus an kokane came in later, HD wasnt in the video.
HD was also on the welcome to the chuuch tapes and on Kurupts space boogie album.
I remember he was sposed to do a 3rd album an was waitin on Snoop or sumthin? I thgink he kept getin locked up?
I think his albums are that classic sound if not classics.
He sings now instead of rao but he did rap on sum welcome to tha chuuch tapes and g-unit/whoo kid shit with snoop.
And as mentioned he sing with snoop an soopafly as nine inche dixxx or how ever thats spelt?

Steel On a Mission

btw a year or so ago I posted about how I didn't like lil half deads album...saying the beats were generic (as was he)

you know what? thats still true, but... damn, I can't deny it. Generic or not, it's still g-funk, and its too funky not to get into.

I prefer his debute album.

He was tight on some of the songs on the early Chuuch-tapes; like The Streets and ADIDAC..
