k-os continues his tradition of every album being weirder than the last

for me, it also means this is worse than the last. its growing on me tho...

I'm loving this dude's music. One of the few people I still check for. At least he's trying to be innovative and new.

No doubt.  Who else in the game sounds like him???  It is bizarre to me that dude didn't blow up in the U.S. with tracks like MAN I USED TO BE (Some old school MJ shit) or SUnday Morning.   I don't actually feel Yes as much as JHoyful Rebellion, but it is growing on me.  4,3,2,1 is the single of the year to me so far.

A shame people sleep on K-OS, good to see some peeps checking for him.

Yeah I'm surprised he didn't grow big in the us that crabbucket track was huge.I've been a fan since heaven only knows.as always I will buy this album.

I don't understand why he hasn't blown up in the US yet either. I've exposed a lot of people to his music and they ask the same thing. I have yet to come across one person who didn't like Love Song or Sunday Morning. I heard  Sunday Morning on a few cell phone commercials, but unfortunately K-OS gets no credit for those lol.

And I just got my hands on Yes!. So far, it's the best album I've heard this year (even better than Cunninlynguists) and its on par with Atlantis. I'll give my final opinion when I listen to the whole thing.

I first heard of him when he dropped that "Superstar" joint several years back which I thought was dope...BET had that in steady rotation.  But I've never checked his other stuff, but I prolly should.

4321, Aviatior, Avenue, Eye Know Something = CLASSIC

This is better than his last album.  And on par with his others..    K-OS earns his top 10 spot on my list.

He is THAT good.  One of my top 10 ever too.  Been down since 96- Musical Essence!  Rise like the Sun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6z1uhWGa8lk&feature=related) is an early classic too.

K-OS is what Andre 3000 tried to be on Love Below, but for K-Os this isn't forced.

Checkout Highway 7 too...........some totally different shit for this guy.

@teecee: Do you have an mp3 of Musical Essence?  I've looked forever for this song, and only can find the low-grade music video on youtube...

That's crazy. When bumpin Atlantis the other day, I was trying to make comparisons between K-OS and Andre. K-OS did it way better that's for sure, just got less exposure unfortunately. I think Andre is a more talented MC, but K-OS is better in every other aspect by far.

And Rise Like The Sun was my first exposure to K-OS. I still love that track.

this cd is unreal. My favourite track is the one with saukrates. Sounds like the OC's theme song.

K-Os' albums have been getting consistently shittier (imo) since Exit (which was awesome).  I wish he would have stayed on that path instead of goin off on some experimental type stuff.
