It probably still won't, cause it's fuckin' Butch Cassidy singing it, not Akon or T-Pain, but the production and vocals really catch the essence of todays popular music, so if some radio channels pick up on it, it COULD become a major hit.

I agree. Butch definitely doesn't need autotune, but since that seems to be the "it" thing to do now, it could work for him. If he did the remake without autotune, his longtime fans would be able to enjoy the song more, but it would likely be a swing and a miss on the radio.
