Blackout 2 will probably sell more, and im anticipating it more but itll be interesting to see how Blaqkout turns out but nothin which has dropped so far has been great, a tad average imo while everything from Blackout 2 so far has been 8)
-
I'm anticipatin' them both. I'll drop some thoughts in this topic after i've heard both albums.

It's a goddamn shame that Redman and D.P.G. haven't done so many songs together, even though Reggie is a big Dogg Pound fan.
-

If that were to happen I don't think I could check for new hip hop afterwards. too funky.

I second that...Method Man's a great live performer. And it would give East Coast cats like me an opportunity to catch a Quik concert in person.

Yeah im anticipating both
-
Both of these albums are going to be crazy. Personally, I'm looking more forward to the Quik/Kurupt one, though (Quik production and Kurupt lyricism=victory).
-
My Wu bias and the tracks I have said so far all point to Blackout 2 being the better all round album... but I will still check the other when it fully drops 8)
-
Honestly, I'm anticipating both like a muthafucka. Can't wait to hear these albums.

The Red & Meth gig I'm going to in June will be tight without a doubt, but a Red & Meth + Quik & Kurupt -tour would be INSANE.
-
I'll be picking up both for sure. "Blackout" is a damn near classic, and Reggie is in my top 5 all time.
Red & Meth are definitely a tight duo at a concert, T-Dogg. They were the closing act here years back, and they closed the show with "How High" while strapped to the ceiling by their ankles and dropping down by the crowd. Meth was on our side and came down and shook my buddies hand and took a joint from him, then his shoe fell off and security came and got it.

Hell yeah, will be there too.
-
I anticipate them both on da same level pretty much. BUT, I edge out wit Kurupt & DJ Quik's b/c Red & Meth aren't some of my all time favs....Kurupt & Quik are.
-
all four of them cats need to do a tour
-
cant wait for both
-
in all honesty...im anticipating the Blackout 2 more and here are my reasons:
-Quik ain't the same producer he was 6-7 years ago and that my biggest concern with Blaqout, lyrically Quik and Kurupt will do their thing
-Redman is in my top 3 all-time MC's and Funk Doc & Johnny Blaze have already proven for years they have great chemistry and all of the hype singles have been smoking hot (i'm bumpin A-Yo right now!)
-Im anticipating the Kurupt / Terrance record alot more because Terrance is a monster on the boards and he's been bringing out the "old Kurupt" on the stuff ive heard so far...
-Redman seems like he gets better the older he gets...his flow, delivery, and word play have been consistaly off the charts for years...yet he is never in the descussions for best MC, he forces Method Man to try and step up and match him toe to toe....
-Quik really disappointed me with that Fixxers album...Two Westcoast legends together for a whole album over some southern style "crunk in the club" beats? Heartbreaking....especially when you factor in Quik beats have the measuring stick for quality on the West Coast, hell most East Coast heads i know say Quik is the West best producer...so considering both artists track records...that album should have been "funked the hell out"! Im cheering for and hoping Quik proves me wrong in a big way!!!!!
