Kiss wants Kanye West and Cam’ron on the remix of his current single, “Who’s Fake,” and he already knows what producers’ beats he needs for his next album.
“I’m definitely going back in,” the Yonkers native said. “The D-Block album is wrapped up. I’mma make sure we finish this LOX album, and I’m coming right back at the end of the year. I think I’m gonna call it Top Five, Dead or Alive. I’m only gonna work with Primo [DJ Premier], Alchemist, Swizz Beatz, Dame Grease, sh– like that. Have a couple of South [producers], and that’s it. Wham!”
The Black Babe Ruth’s Last Kiss is far from over, though. He just shot a video for “Who’s Real” in Harlem last week, with OJ Da Juiceman and Swizz. T.I., Ja Rule, the Clipse, Grafh and Black Hand Entertainment were among the friends who came down for cameo appearances.
After that, ‘Kiss is going with the single “Smoking Gun” — featuring Jazmine Sullivan — to close out the album. A video is in the works. “Jazmine is gonna clean me up real good,” he said. “I already got sh– lined up in ‘Essence’ and ‘Sister 2 Sister’ — that’s a big joint. In Texas and out West, they spinning it real heavy. We gonna be all right with that one.”
Aside from music, ‘Kiss is hoping to get in contact with DMX, who was just released from jail in Arizona. “That’s my big homie,” Jada said of X. “I just wanna give him a hug, sit down and kick it with him.”
Jadakiss and Cam’ron’s “Big Bosses” Tour starts in the next few weeks. The two are working on a few new records to perform on the road.

how can he be top 5 when he don't have one cohesive album?
-
he's making an album about other rappers? cause jadakiss is in nobody's top 5 dead or alive list, dude doesn't have one decent album. the only thing he spits dope on is guest appearances
-
Does he think if he keeps saying it people will believe him? Its debatable if he's top 5 in NY atm let alone hip hop. I like Jada but his new album had some wack beats and way too many features. The features on there were wack, Jeezy, OJ, Wayne are all poor on the mic. If he wants Southern representation call up BOB, Andre 3000, Big Boi, Luda, Cham, Jay Electronica etc...

First, he's far from being in most people's top 5 and he really isn't anyone's top 20.
Second, arguably, he jacked the title from Lloyd Banks even though it's a popular phrase that no one can claim stakes on.

Does he think if he keeps saying it people will believe him?
Lil' Wayne did and it worked.

This is true.

so you really think Lil Wayne is the best rapper of all time?
LL has more claim than WAyne

No I think that Wayne saying that worked like a marketing ploy. The people curious enough to find out bought the album. No different then TI saying he was the King Of The South or Jay-Z saying he is the King of NY or Nas saying Hip Hop Is Dead. It sparks dialogue and interest in people. Of course IMO Wayne is not the greatest rapper alive, but it was a smart ploy to drum up some sales.

i enjoyed all the Carter's over Jada's albums; even III for entertainment purposes.
Jada can kill verses, but his albums aren't all that.
but even Jada at the top of his game might not be top 20 dead or alive.

yes..but it´s like everybody´s sayin they are the best..bla bla..but only few can do it like they claim to they can.
-
Well if Jada wants to live up to that title he for one can't wait 3-5 years inbetween albums. From the sounds of that article he is getting back in the lab. Reminds me so much of how Wayne and Nas said this like this months before the new album was coming out.

I don't agree with Wayne being the best rapper alive but I must say... Carter 3 > any Jada album
-
yeah jada need to step it up
if he thinks hes top 5 dead or alive, he got alot to prove (especially wit this wack shit hes been puttin out lately
he might not even be in the top 10 of the east

he's probably borderline top 10 east today, but no way in HELL does he crack the top 20 of the east all time.

but I think he could be a better rapper if he wanted to, i dont think hes done, but he really needs to step it up

That's the thing though with your Waynes, Kanyes, Games, etc. and I'm not saying these guys aren't talented and don't make music that is successful but it's more talking than proving. With the decline in quality music, it's easy for a rapper to drop a great album and sell it up to "classic" when it's actually just really good. For all the talk of rappers being this and that, it's very few that are doing anything that is different and and at the same time, exciting.

Im a Jada fan, but Last Kiss was a big disapointment. Considering I still bump the heaters from Kiss of death, and thats a good few years in between albums, was a big let down. If he comes again this year, then He does need to step his game up. Matter of fact, All LOX members can make dope tracks, especially Kiss & Styles but Album wise need to step their games up.
