Cool piece of history though, generally positive opinion on hip hop at the time. If only they knew several years it would spawn NWA ;D

Its crazy how rap music has evolved so much.
Amazing, ghostwriting has been in rap since the beginning, Big Bank Hank's lyrics on Rapper's Delight were written entirely by someone else if you didn't know.

Grandmaster Caz was pissed about that to. He gave his rhyme book to Hank and told him he could use a couple of lines, Hank was straight up jackin entire verses lol.

Sugar Hill Gang were pretty much a manufactured group. Regardless, Rappers Delight, Apache, and 8th Wonder are classics.
