Title: The earliest known and recognized West Coast songs/albums are....
Post by: R-Tistic on May 16, 2009, 07:14:13 PM
From doin research, it appears that Too Short's "Don't stop rappin" dropped in 83, which was right before Egyptian Lover dropped in 84, and Toddy Tee in 85. Most of the 84-86 Rap aside from Toddy and Short were on that Electro tip, from what I've seen.

Was there anything else that was around and got noticed during this time period that you know about?
