how do i open zip or rar files on macs? im on a mac right now and i tried winzip but i dont think its compatible
-
for .zip files you should be able to just double click on it and it'll extract/open up
i install something called 'the unarchiver' (http://wakaba.c3.cx/s/apps/unarchiver.html) which replaces the build in osx function for this as it handles alot more files (rar, z, tbz etc), try using that
