His Will
God Took her away from me,
"Thy will be done"
I'm told to let it go, "She's his now."
Thoughts of her still haunt my sleep.
I was given as a gift to her,
So she could love,
"Thy will be done"
God set her free, leaving me without her,
To face this world alone.
"Thy will be done"
Does my life stop here?
Will she remember me,
When I call her name?
"Thy will be done"
She sings quietly in my ear
before the ending night,
It is to feel her love i long for,
And to be in her motherly arms.
"Thy will be done"
It gets harder to be without
Her black hair,
And the way she smiles at me,
The look of love in her eyes.
"Thy will be done"
Accepting what,
I DO NOT WANT TO BE,
Is simply not for me,
But for God,
"His will be done today"
