I rather see Shannon Brown at the 3...or Brown at the 2 and Kobe at the 3. Luke and Sasha are getting too much PT. I'd like to see Powell get in there as well.
-
the thing I like is that he's a very hard worker ... he got athleticism but his B-Ball fundenmentals are weak still you can see he works his ass off .. before it's season my grandmama was probably a better 3 pt shooter than Trevor , now he's good from downtown ... same with FTs (still struggles % wise but the form is way better and is more comfortable at shooting it) ... I'd like him to work on ball handling and passing this offseason ...
THUMBS UP TO THE THIEF

i forgot to mention the clutch 3's he made in the 4th quarter :o 8)......

Most Improved Player.
Well Granger was the shit last year with 20ppg and standout defense so I didnt think it made a ton of sense even though he scored 26ppg this year to win the award because he was already real good. I like the way Ariza plays a lot and he is extremely improved.
-
Yeah, i already considered Granger a very good player too. Have you noticed how Ariza improved in 3pts shooting? It's unreal. It means he really worked hard, man. He couldn't hit a 3 pointer to save his life till last year. He shot 43 times from 3 points in 4 years (scoring just 9 times) !!!! And this season he shot 215 times from 3 scoring 92 times. Plus he basically averaged career high in points, assists, rebound, steals and blocks. I'm really impressed. I thought he was just a role player with good atheticism for dunks, but he proved he's worth a starting spot in those Lakers.

How is Brown going to play PF? He's 6'4"
-
^ lol I'm assuming he meant the 1.
But Ariza is that real deal. He's always played hard, he's not a Walton / Vujacic type fluke.
-
Luke is weak but he's getting WAY less on my nerves than Fish AND Sasha in these playoffs .. at least Luke will stay within the offense will get 2, 3 good assists , and even if he's a very weak defender overall , he always does a decent job against strong SF .. he did a good job on Artest and Melo so far imo ...
Fish is just a liability on both ends of the floor and jacking up jumpers early in the possession that he doesn't make anymore , get schooled on the Defensive end ... each time we are going on a good run and our d is looking good , Phil put him back on the floor and the opponent got some easy looks again ...
I just can't stand Sasha anymore , dude is just straight stupid , brickind open shots , taking some very contested shots instead of playing within the offense .... on the defensive end , committing fucking touched fouls 40 feet away from the basket ...
I dont hate on Fish coz he's done a lot from our ballclub and will still act like a leader on and off the court but Sasha ? I just want to punch him

Ariza is for real. Timely steals, big three's, big FT's/

Yeah as GB said , I assume he meant the 1 ... anyways Brown , Kobe and Riza should play a lot more minutes together ( have they already been on the flooe together ? Not even sure) and should finish the 4th quarter together aswell ... Brown is a way better defender than Fish , at this point is more capable of hitting open 3s AND can go to the basket ... Once again put the pipe down Phil
-
haha but damn fish used to be dope especially wit them 3's
but ariza has been pullin in them 3's lately and brown attacks them muffuccaz
suprised they've pulled this far, considerin the teams all over the place (all over the place wit their players and how they workin things)

I meant 3, which Brown has played in the past...im basically saying that anything is better than Luke...Luke plays good for stretches, but reverts to playing bad in a blink of an eye.

exactly
ariza comes through.

such a talented player

I was reading in the LA Times a few weeks ago about the Laker free agents coming up
they said most likely that one of the two, Odom and Ariza, won't be coming back because of money
I know Odom is going to take less money but Ariza could get that '$6 million a year' contract
who would you guys rather have? I say Ariza because Odom has all the talent and no balls, I don't see him waking up

isnt that why we traded the vlads? so that we can keep odom and ariza, i dont see morrison coming back and brown doesnt take that much cap space at all.

yeah id keep both but if i had to choose then ariza would be in
