this sucker holds 21 hard drives, 23 if i want to get creative
sounds like an airport is now in my study however
-
so you have 21 drives in there now? whats your raid look like?
-
i have 16 in there at the moment, adding them one after the other
my raid is all done using unRAID (www.lime-technology.com), linux OS that runs off a flash drive using a dedicated parity drive. my parity drive is currently 2TB.
the best thing about it is all the drives can be different sizes etc, can't really do that with anything else
-
jobd? how big is it now?
-
12tb atm, should be around 17tb this weekend
-
what are the other specs?
-
17 TB??
could you even fill that up if you tried? lol
-
i have 12tb now, and about another 5tb sitting on some external hard drives that i need to move over
the other specs, quad core e8600, 2gb ram, supermicro c2see motherboard
-
