I'd extremely appreciate and be extremely grateful if anybody could give me tips and advice and explanations how Grand Central Terminal works, this gon be my 1st time taking a train and 1st time to NY and any background information is like required for a kid....niggas I'll prop ya like crazy....my destination is West 42nd Street after I gets off that train am I close to there? Cuz after that the only thang I got is my legs. I need help. The only help I gots is from this computer, but I need somethang like human...
Sons, please, I know there's got to be 1 of ya'll who got this experience. Please, I'm pleading, I'm dead ass wit this thread. Word on everythang.
I needs New Yorker knowledge. Somethang, anythang, tips, guidance, warnings, human - not computerized directions, man I don't care.

You live in Waterbury and never been to NYC? Its not even that far away from there. I live in Mass and it only takes me like 2.5 hrs to get there. Nevermind living a half hour away.

eye mean its pretty simple. W 42 is grand central eye believe............. where you trying to go because getting to Grand central would be the least of your worries, if you that confused. eye mean pretty much its basically just buying your ticket ( you should buy one way) from the ticket machines

also the trains from what eye remember they stop running at some time and then the next train aint till like 6 or 7.... something like that look into that............. but eye doubt you would be out there that late anyway

When you get out the 42nd st side of grand central and you head west on 42nd st. You'll know you're going the right way if the avenue numbes go up. Some will be names though. But after a few blocks if you see 6th Ave / Avenue of Americas you are heading in the right direction. Or once you get to grand central you can take the 7 train to times square-42nd st which is a block away. But in regards to the subway don't head on the 7 line if it's heading towards Queens you will be going in the wrong direction. Here is the info for the 7 train

Don't worry about it, if it's nice out I recommend walking to BB Kings and taking the city in. You ever go to the city before ?
