It's tough to call who will be next, Santana and Halladay have been dominant and aren't even halfway there. Andy Pettite has a chance but that would be a while for him. It's tough to alter your pitching style and stay strong for such a long period, you pretty much have to pitch into your 40's, and that doesn't happen a lot. Congrats to Randy, this is a great accomplishment.

God damn, this guy brings back memories of my childhood, especially that win vs the angels that got us to our first playoffs in franchise history. I hated him for a while cause he acted like a bitch when he left Seattle. I got tickets to his game against the M's a few weeks ago and heckled him at the beginning but found myself joining in on the round of applause that our fans gave him when he got taken out. Props on the 300 big guy.

the Mets can't get Johan enough wins lmao.

Halladay will get there; so will Lincy. 8)

props to Randy.

Pedro >>>> anyone else

Pedro in 2000 is the greatest season by a pitcher ever.

He is the 24th pitcher in baseball history to achieve 300 victories, not the only one.  And starting pitchers pitch every 5th day normally so in the course of 162 game season a starting pitcher only pitches about 33-38 games a season.

they only get like 20 starts a year & then there are a lot of no decisions.

14-16 wins a year is a great year.

18+ = Cy Young type season.
