I'm getting hyped for Mos Def's coming album so I've been thinking about this lately... here's how I would rank them.. (notice Common isn't on my list cause I consider him over-rated)

Best conscious rappers   (notice I ranked Nas as my number 5 even though he is my number 1 overall, but judging from a "conscious" perspective)

1.  Mos Def
2.  Talib Kweli
3.  M1 or Sticman of Dead Prez
4.  Andre 3000
5.  Nas

Best albums

1.  Dead Prez-  Let's Get Free
2.  Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek-  Reflection Eternal
3.  Mos Def-  Black on Both Sides
4.  Mos Def and Talib Kweli-  Black Star
5.  Rass Kass -  Soul On Ice
