damn the more i think about this the harder it is for me to put them in an order. i'm a huge kurupt fan and Streetz is a mutha is obviously a classic but even Same Day Different shit had some bangers on it like "Make that Ass Shake", "Scrape thru tha hood", "Accessories" and a few others
but here's what i got....
1. Space Boogie- probably one of the most slept on rap albums period. i think what fucked it up was the single they put out, It's Over Now. really not a bad song but how could you pass up on a song like The Hardest....?!?!? hard to put this over Streetz is a Mutha but the production did it for me.
2. Streetz is a Mutha - whole album is hard as fuck and next week i'll prolly say its his best
3. Kuruption- agree with most of everyone else who says it should have been a 1 disc album because that 2nd disc had too many fillers. top 3 songs on these albums though go against any top 3 from the two albums above
4. Against the grain - i was a little dissapointed when this first came out since it had so much hype around it but it got rushed at the last minute and seemed like a lot of the tracks didn't fit with each other. either way, had a few gems on it and overall it was still a solid album.....Anarchy '87 is classic deathrow material and Slide N Slide Out is one of my favorites on there but hardly a Kurupt song
5. Same Day Different Shit- Not his best but the songs at the top are straight and it gets play more than other top artists not so good albums
i think you could say he had 2 classic albums and i'm thinkin he'll put out one more after hearing some of his newest shit(not Blaqout cause that was some bullshit)

To me it's probably...
1) Space Boogie
2) Streetz Iz A Mutha
3) Against Tha Grain
4) Kuruption
5) Same Day Different Shit
But to be honest, it's a tie with Space Boogie / Streetz... I agree that's an unpopular opinion, but I got to be honest. The production was just so clean. I think it depends on the mood I'm in too, they both hot.
I like The Originalz album too even though it's not a solo album.

Streetz
Kuruption
Space Boogie
SDDS
Against The Grain (The OG version would be above SDDS)
-
streets is a mother....because of the classic CROOKED raps :D
kurupt at his best was def 1992-1996
-
I got to be honest, I love all of his albums, I'd probably order them differently if you asked me the same question tomorrow.

yeah i agree he was his best between the 92-95 but it seems like even up till this day he's on and off like Rex Grossman in 2006(from chicago so i'm not gonna compare to Romo). he's had his fair share of questionable music but you can tell he's still got it and i'm almost thinkin that maybe his weaker shit is when he's tryin too hard to be different or original. who knows

damn thats waz up
alotta heads think space boogie was better than his other albums

For me, Space Boogie at times sounded forced and formula driven. Not to say it is not a good album because I think it is but a couple of the tracks sounded out of place. Although I will give Kurupt credit for dropping a more universal sounding album. I actually think his albums from hear on out will be like that. Excluding the ones done by Daz. Streetz is just that raw, DPGC Kurupt lyrically and musically. SB is here and there.

I will say this, Fred Wreck did the DAMN THING beats wise on SB. Same on Streetz
-
Streetz
Kuruption
Space Boogie
SDDS
Against The Grain (The OG version would be above SDDS)

1. Space Boogie: Smoke Oddessey
2. Kuruption!
3. Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha
4. Against The Grain
5. Same Day Different Shit
Just my thoughts right now.
-
I think the best stuff he ever did was on his first album... the Death Row stuff especially on Kuruption!
His best stuff arguably along with Streetz...
Space Boogie had its moments and was more commercially acceptable.
-
1. Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha
Just a classic record for the Westcoast, the vibe is just crazy, makes you feel like you in LA
2. Space Boogie: Smoke Odessey
Great record well-produced and kinda innovative
3. Kuruption
I think its a weird debut album from Kurupt but still have some heaters on it
4. Against The Grain
Its not a bad record but I was expecting more from Kurupt
5. Same Shit, Different Dayz
Daz productions are so disappointing, average overall
-

2 Streetz 1999
3 Against The Grain ( Retail + OG Combined) 2003-2004

Not going to put them in order, but I disagree with the Space Boogie album being the most slept on, because it had a major mainstream single which was successful worldwide, and had his most notiability since his Death Row Dogg Pound days, not to mention the fact that it coinsided with the Shade Sheist's summer hit "where I wanna Be". Kurupt was seen on the screen all over the world
I say Kuruption is a slept on album, because it had a bit more solo effort as opposed to a combined DPG effort which Streetz Is a Mutha had, & seems to be the favourite among so many. Many people overlook it as a dull album. Kuruption & Streetz iz a mutha to me are the 2 hottest albums Kurupt has put out, and probably in the top 50 for best West Coast albums released.. Space Boogie hmmmm, it was quite good, Ok, but not as good as the 2 I've mentioned. Other shyt I'm not interested in.

Sorry if the quality isn't that great, this isn't my rip. I'd rip mine, but it's buried in the collection somewhere.

Hmm I would like to see Fredwreck have a lot of input in one more Kurupt album....Also a Dogg Pound Album Trio with Daz, Kurupt and Soopafly (The 3rd official member officially involved as a 3rd member)....But like the sound of Quik/Kurupt album every year :D
-

Good look & I wouldn't argue over a DPG album wit Soopafly on it.
