It's not even been two weeks since Taje let go his DJ Khalil produced "System Overload" joint on dubcnn! The Hawthorne, CA rapper is finishing up his "Hot Box 3: Hold Your Breath" and is slowly building up the hype.
Taje is most known for spitting to Dae One beats, and be assured, Dae is going to be a big part of this project. We have just received a brand new joint called "Only In California", produced by the man himself. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Dae One is yet to drop a wack beat.
Taje reached out to Glasses Malone and Balance to come rock with him on "Only In California", along with the lovely Chevy Jones on the hook:

Might sound weird, but if more famous rappers would've made this song it possibly would be remembered for a long time.
So that's a compliment to these artists & nice work Dae One!
But alot 'fans' are still stuck in the past and don't give newer artists a opportunity to break trough.
Hot Box 3 sounds great so far.
My only concern is that if a track like this doesn't appear on a album, that means Taje won't be dropping a album soon at all. But as long as good music is coming out it's all fine to me.

Taje is a really average rapper but a hot song is a hot song and this bangs. Love the Hook. 8)
