Title: JA RULE - Hollywood
Post by: The-Leak (aka) kingwell (bka) JULES on June 11, 2009, 09:56:09 PM

Still trying out singles..  I think if they messed with the beat some more to put some more variation into the keys and guitar, it could catch..  Until that happens, I don't think this is the one Ja..

Irv says they are making a good album, that's why they are taking their time..  He also says they _need_ to have a smash single for this project to work.. And they will keep trying songs until the fans like one..

patiently waiting...  Liked the Robin Thicke joint the most so far.

that and the projects with the guap boyz have been pretty sick so far...

he has a record called ALONE with features i think virtually the whole murder inc cast is craziness

the instrumentation on the chorus is Dope, it defenitly has that pop appeal.. i could see this becoming a mix show dance record, dont know about a ringtone or a hit with this 1..

this is where the music is going , irv is mad smart

At this point all I care about is getting "Sunset" and hopefully the remix still happens. Irv should've dropped the album when "Body" blew up, I doubt if they'll come up with somethin that radio friendly that people like.

I'm still rootin for my nigga Rule tho.

not a bad attempt by ja. the vibe of the song i like but in some parts ja's voice gets lazy and if they did away with the autotune it would be a hot summer track.

Not a big fan of ja, but dont mind some of his stuff. Problem is hes got no buzz, he should realease a few mixtapes to get peoples attention again and then drop his album, because if he drops this year with nothing before hand he will flop hard and that really will be it for him.

I wasn't aware people actually check for ja rule. I thought he was one of those guys from the early 2000's that got lampooned as the epitome of wigger rap.

He did im not gunna sit here and say i didnt have ja shit in rotation cos i did. Its just when 50 came out ja panicked because i think he knew the public would take to 50 and he tried counteract by acting like 2pac and saying he would shut down shady records. As we all saw this backfired horrificly, throw in a couple more crap albums a few more shitty singles and bit more of nonsense talking and it was game over....

It's always like that when you on top. It's just that people are all over the fucking place and you can't hide from "hot" rappers, they are overplayed to the end. I used to hate 50 Cent & Ja Rule when they were on top...I know think both have pretty good first albums and second ones aint bad either, also used to hate his voice but it aint so bad when you get used to it.
