The fuck?

Rocky Mariciano

not only did he have one of the best left hooks in the fuckin game but also was the best heavyweight

retired undefeated 49-0 (not to count the other fight he had that were not counted)

when it comes to boxing just ask me about it

Boxing>ANY other sport

IMO

Rocky>Iron Mike>Ali>Joe Louis

always torn between ali and tyson. was brought up on those two so it would be unfair to pass judgement on rocky.

I disagree, while I don't think MMA is a fad I prefer boxing by a lot, even with all of the belts and committees it is still better run. I would like to see both run better operations to ensure that we get to see the best matchups, but the strategy and skillsets in boxing are much more fine-tuned.

Boxing is just going through a cycle. It's lacking star power. New stars will eventually come out the woodwork.

MMA has no star power. Just a few familiar names.

i disagree. while boxers might have more finely tuned striking skill set mma fighters have still been doing there chosen fighting syle for as long and with as much determination. i think the diversity in mma is a lot more appealing. more techniques and disciplines = more unpredictable fights.

i think mma will still be here in 10 years and going strong. The only thing that beats it in PPv buys is Wrestlemania. that has more to do with less stars in boxing as sikotic said.

the difference in the sports was evident in the cotto fight at the weekend. the two fighters got tied up and cotto pushed him to the ground and the fight had to be stopped for some time so he could recover from a push.

while the UFC seems a very dangerous and seems more brutal. Boxing does a lot more damage to the fighters.

Boxing has too many weight classes and too many titiles and i believe it is making the casual fan become more distant with the sport.

Ricky hatton has also said before that Boxing should be run more like the ufc
