IM gonna say this now. I always been a fan of westcoast music, Dj quik... HIs beats was and still is amazing...
As a musician, producer dude is so so dope.
I was listening to his records the last few days.. lyricly tho.. even safe and sound... im sorry its terrible.
The guy has no flow and on rhymes, dint then dosent now.
Thig is back then the game wasent as elevated lyricly as it is today.. even if in 95 when he dropped the classic safe and sound( and yes it is a westcoast classic even if i said he is terible)
the game was still very stroong, ice cube is miles ahead.

I think you are the first person I have ever heard say Safe N Sound is terrible. Or maybe you mean Quik's rhymes and not the beats?

Yeah juts the rhymes.. beats, production is tight as all hell..

His flow, rhymes and tone of voice irritates the hell out of me.

ONly in the opast year or so.. Quik used to be my top 5 but as i grow in my musical tastes, as the game gets stepped up every record that comes out... personal opinion is this guy dosent have it and never realy had it lyricly.
