I played the "Don Cartegena" album for some friends a year or so back and they couldn't believe how dope Fat Joe was. They just know him as sort of the Puerto-Rican Ja Rule who does thugged-out R&B records but that album was incredible!

fat joe is crazy, he changed his style sooo much, first he was strictly underground NY hip-hop artist with buckwild, diamond d, lord finesse, premo,etc. the whole D.I.T.C Crew and then he went pop :(
