Im bumping Blaqkout for some time, I can say its a solid album but it could have been better if you ask me, it lacks few more songs and maybe and one better single. Anyway we all know Kurupt been recording with Terrace Martin who is if u ask me a great upcoming producer and musician, we heard a few tracks leaked with Terrace and Kurupt and im must say im surprised how good they are. Songs like "Dream", "Im 1", "Thats A Lie", "You Kno", "Bounce Skate Rock", are really album material and can be compared with quality of Quik beats.
So im askin do u belive that Terrace + Kurupt project can outshine Blaqkout?
PS. Quik + Terrace + Kurupt project would be amazing:)

Even That's a Lie alone is much better than the whole Blaqkout, so yeah Terrace already won Quik.

from my perspective, no way. in terms of production and acoustics quik > terrace by a LONG way. not really heard anything by terrace on the production tip that has made me go wow. he makes nice sounding music and is a good musician, but production wise, he's yet to do anything really groundbreaking. not even close.

I think Terrace and Quik work a lot together now (Terrace co-produced The Appeal) so we may hear some Quik influence on this album as well.

I do not really dig it when he goes for "that 80's sound" :(
Either way, Nigga has some skills so we will see how much it bangs when its released.

From the tracks that they have leaked, it sounds like a more lyrical Kurupt on his verses so fans of that from him should be in for a nice album.

the kurupt and terrace cd is gnna be amazing. when it comes out and if any of yall hate on it u need to go lay in traffic wit yo head on a dotted line cause u jst a plain o no pussy gettin ass nigga!!!!!!!lol what u guys have heard was a teaser that shit is goin hard as fucc blaqkout is a dope cd as well but just on some fun party shit.

I would say yes, but I can't say it just yet. After all, I also thought Blaqkout would be the best hip hop album since Rhythm-Al-Ism.

For any diehard young gotti fan, T-Mac/Kurupt's album will be better. From what i've heard, kurupt really picked his pen up for this shit, while on blaqkout he took a few songs off lyrically (Do You Know, for example). BlaQKout had some dope songs, but i think this new shit could be a dope album

If Young Gotti drops 2 Discs in one summer.....then its the best one for me in a while. These past 2 summers of music jus haven't been as good as they used to be. This summer tho has had some shit to bump.
