Title: I just now finally realized DJPremier/Royce "Friends" is about his dick

yeah.. I feel kind of stupid.. seems so obvious now.  Thing is I've been listening to this song off and on for like 10 years now and just now realized it... I even had it as a ringtone I made for my phone set to when my friends would call

it's one of his more popular tracks because it was recorded earlier in his carear around 99-2000 when alot of people thought he was about to be the next big superstar following the success of Eminem, track was produced by DJ Premier

...somehow it seemed he spent the next 3 or 4 years as "next to blow" every month in the Source, XXL and Blaze may have still been around then

good thread idea.  I will start one today.  That's my best recent one, but I have a lot of funny confessions from the early 90's when I first started listening to hip-hop... like when I didn't buy 2pac's second album that I really wanted just because it was titled "Strictly 4 My Niggaz".

lol.. yep, and I thought he was using a few metaphors comparing his "friends" to his dick, but I didn't realize the whole song wasn't about his "friends" but rather it was about his dick
