Title: Best Snoop-CD besides Doggystyle?
Post by: Jome on October 21, 2002, 09:14:05 PM
It's been argued back and forth, but know we can see what's the best Snoop-CD, except Doggystyle.

I can easily answer this 'best of' question Jome, had Snoop not dropped Doggystyle as his first cd, everyone would look at Doggfather as a great release. Instead mainly only the true Snoop/DPG/Row fans liked it, compared to most people labelling it as garbage. Off the top of my head, here is what makes this his best album other than Doggystyle

- Gold Rush ft. LBC Crew
- Blueberry ft. DPG & LBC Crew
- Down Town Assassins ft. Daz Dillinger & Tray Deee
- Six Minutes
- You Thought ft. Soopafly & Too $hort
- Me & My Doggz

Some of u might not agree that those are dope songs, and I probably missed some (Im at Uni right now, so cant remember EVERY song), but yeah those make it a pretty dope album, and therefore better than the rest of his (IMO)

topp dogg is the best by a landslide....the only other snoop album worth mentioning was doggfather and greatest hits wasnt really a greastest hits from snoop(he had no part in deciding the tracks)....the production team on top dogg is what his upcoming album shouldve been...not all these east coast producers....topp dogg has classic tracks...if it didnt have all those no limit guests....we wouldnt be having this discussion now....bitch please is probably the last great snoop dogg song

Tha Doggfather

When it first came out I thought it was an average album due to extremely high expectations. I didn't realize that he wouldn't be able to match the perfection that we know as Doggystyle. Now that I listen to it I think it's a great album. DJ Pooh handled the production well and I think he is the best producer Snoop did an album with other than Dre.
