This one is difficult, as Eminem has been pretty consistant..
I think it will be a close match.
-
Slim Shady LP for me. The shock value of that cd was through the roof, and very unique. Maybe not as good production wise as his last two, but a hell of an introduction to any performer.
-
marshall mathers lp for me....the production was just so damn good...lyrically em always comes of tight so the production was what did it for me
-
Slim Shady by far to me.
-
I never listened to Infinite until recently and I can't believe anyone thinking that that is his best album. He has improved so much since that, it's actually quite impressive.
-
Marshall Mathers LP....It made him a superstar.
So I'll stick with this one.
Although I still feel he has a way better album in him....if he stay's away from the bullshit track's he sprinkles here in there in his releases such as:
"My name is"
"Business"
"Say my name"
"Square Dance"
"The real Slim Shady" ect...
ImO
Hatesrats 2oo2
He has yet to drop his best yet..

The Marshall Mathers LP
The production was great. This showed tremendous growth compared to The Slim Shady LP which I thought was good but too "goofy". I liked every song on The Marshall Mathers LP except for about three. I really hate "Kim" though! I haven't listened to that song in it's entirety since I got the album. The Eminem Show is good too but I didn't really get into it.

Any true hip hop head knows "Infinite" is his greatest lyrical effort...Maybe beatwise it wasn't that amazing, but lyricaly, that album was something else...

An EP is still an album...

An EP is still an album...
At 6 tracks, (+2 radio-edits & 2 skits) The Slim Shady LP can hardly be called a album.
More of a extended single.
Of those 6 tracks, 3 of them is on Slim Shady LP.
And of the 3 unique ones, only one of them can rated as "great". ("Murder Murder")
Therefore there's no reason to put that up with the 4 LP's. (meaning LongPlay)

infinite. he was rapping about real shit while still keeping it lyrical. not to mention he should've stuck to eastcoast-influenced beats because his voice wasn't so annoying.
its obvious he brought out the slim shady persona because he wasn't getting the recognition he deserved...
-
I don't really like Eminem, but I think I'll say Slim Shady LP for his best CD.
-
TES...
Listen to the tone of his voice, the consistent flow and lyrics. A total growth from his puberty struggling days of TSSLP.
-
slim shady for me...
i even bumped some tracks of that album when it came out...
-
The Eminem show by far

I voted for Infinite, the old school eminemshit gets me everytime before he went commerical and shit.

I think he has gotten better with each album.
