Title: New Jayo Felony (Signed to Lil Wayne & Young Money Ent?)
Post by: Lunatic on June 26, 2009, 01:36:23 PM
Alright I ain't gonna lie, I had heard a rumor from a source a few months back that Jayo Felony was in negotiations with Lil Wayne to sign to Young Money Ent. I knew this would be a big deal to this board but kept my mouth shut to respect the wishes of my source.

However I think it's safe to talk because there are 2 new songs on the Jayo Felony MySpace page (BOTH with Lil Wayne - However the hook on 1 of them I know I've heard and it's on the tip of my tongue - So not sure if Jayo borrowed the hook and the Wayne verse, or Wayne & Jayo borrowed the hook to make this mix tape track) & the other joint is called "Lil Momma" and in both songs Jayo says "Loco Young Money"

Jayo Felony MySpace Link to MYSPACE BULLETIN where the new songs are (they are not up on his page): http://bulletins.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=bulletin.read&authorID=24104499&messageID=6484929715

From a fans perspective and putting the pieces together, safe to say Jayo has signed to Young Money Ent...

i hope he can release an album through them. being with the label should bring a lot of buzz seeing as the label does a lot of tracks with all of their members (jae millz, that one bitch nikki minaj, drake, etc)

with an even bigger buzz though. i don't really like much coming from them collectively (dick pleaser no homo with jae millz was dope though) but you can't deny how big their buzz is right now

Real shit, I hope this aint true lol.

All them Cash Money muhafuckas decided to be Bloods once Mack 10 hooked up with em. I wonder if Wayne will try to be a Crip now.  Better yet, maybe he'll try to be both!  If Jayo used this as a gateway to put out a big album...cool. But then pull some Game/G-Unit shit afterwards and smash that little bitch lol

If I can be honest..

from an unbiased point of view this is good/bad depending on how u look at it.

It's good if u simply want some new Jayo Felony music because as Bundy said, Wayne is always doing a shit load of posse cuts on the multiple mix tapes he puts out with Young Money..so This should bring us some more new Jayo verses/music than we're used to hearing nowadays..

However if you want a Jayo album, I don't really believe Young Money Ent. has ever put a single album out, so I dunno on that tip..

Im tired of Westcoast artists goin and working under Eastcoast/ Down South labels and rappers.  Its a damn shame when a real talented rapper from the West that was puttin out heat when Wayne was still chasin other 8 yr old boys around the playground has to go sign under him in order to get a deal or get a record put out. The West needs to get its shit together, and the big fish out here need to step they shit up.  Everybody's only concerned about how they eatin, and not thinkin about the West as a whole.

i dont care where he signs as long as its another solid album like Crip-Hop, tired of the low quality tracks that been floating around with DJ's yelling all ovr it and pressing their sound effect buttons like they playin a video game.

Let's hope Jayo Felony can release a new album soon. At the end of the day, it don't matter what label he on, it's all about the music.
