Just started bumpin' the second song, like the homie D-Nice said the first song got a bangin' beat and this second one sounds dope too. Who produced on this album?
-

Will be in my rotation for the rest of the year no doubt! 8)
Gonna scoop this one, Must have hard copy of this.
Will prob go under the radar just like his Classic "Rap life" album... But fuck it.
The Alkaholiks always drop heat, guaranteed.

Mainly J-Beam and E-Swift. I know J Wells did a beat also. Man this album is easily best of the west.
-
16. City’s Out
Track listing fix. Knoc-turn'al & Knawledg feature on "City's Out." Wow at Tash putting Knoc on 3 tracks on his album, wow; good!
-
Just finished bumping the album for the first time. A real hot record. Best tracks are:
The Book Ch. 1
Go West (woah at this beat)
How Hi Can U Get Ft. B-Real (first Cypress/Alkaholik collabo?)
Wet Paint Ft. Kokane (was surprised to see Kokane on here since there was no mention of his appearance in interviews)
Push the Button Ft. Khujo Goodie
A Penny for my Thoughts Ft. Samuel Christian (I cherish anytime we get a Samuel Christian appearance)
We Do This Ft. Knoc-turn'al, King T, J-Beam (Knoc killed this hook/verse & Beam killed the beat - good to see King Tee was added to this joint)
Bubble Up Ft. Knoc-turn'al (Knoc brought his creativity to this record in a major way - it sounded nothing like this before Knoc got on it - Tash was BLOWN away)
City's Out Ft. Knoc-turn'al & Knawledg - Knoc WRECKED this verse :o this shit bangs! J. Beam did his thing on the beat. MathMadix all over this track.
New Bikini - E. Swift WOAH on this beat.
Don't Wanna Kill U Ft. King Tee, Styliztik Jones & Osin (Tee murders this. Good to hear Jones as well). Definitely E. Swift on them scratches.
-
Damn, I really need to buy this shit, love his "Rap Life" album ! It was long time i was waiting on new Tash's material 8)
Good tracklisting and a nice list of feats: Del, Knoc (on 3 tracks! :o), King T, B-Real, Kokane...
-
How Hi Can U Get Ft. B-Real (first Cypress/Alkaholik collabo?)
Nah, B-Real was on 'Smokefest 99' on the Rap Life album. But, anyway, where can I find this?
-
Can't stress it enough, this shit is dope. Support ya boy Tash on this one
-
Great album by Tash!
by the way the "City's Out" record is one I told y'all months ago about called "Speakers Thumpin" with J. Beam, Knoc and Knawledg. Tash worked out a deal with them so that he could use it for his album as well, but it is still going on the Beam/Knawledg duo album most likely.
-
This album is a car system's dream right chea. J Beam got them bass thumping beats.

Yeah! Beam did at least 4 records. All 3 that feature Knoc and the "Pull It Outcha Pocket" record. And he co-produced "New Bikini" and mixed just about the entire album.
-
Damn I had no idea the album was even out. Good lookin out to everybody here for the heads up

Cdnow aka Amazon.com is EASILY the most reliable/legit site for media purchases. They have their own cd store or you can buy it off other merchants, and the only way Amazon transfers the money to the merchants is if the merchants send the product, so yeah it's a pretty secure site.
-
Yah, this was a good album, first beat was crazy, had a couple beats with crazy bass too, solid album!!!
-
Damn!!!!!!!
Its been a long wait since Rap Life, what, 10 years??
played this album a few times, pretty damn good I think, better than I would have expected, I thought we would get a fell off Tash with cheap beats..
check this one out people 8)
-
I checked out that City's Out joint after I read through this thread. It's pretty tight! :)

Tash/MathMadix make a good combo on here!

I peeped the album on the way back from work (wow I just realized I was able to listen to the whole album in one drive... shit I fucking hate LA traffic). The album starts off with some straight heat. Tash tears every song up, as expected. And the guest features were about as good as you can get, although I was hoping Xzibit, Phil Da Ag, and maybe even Kurupt would make it on this one again. But Del, B-Real, King T, and Knoc = win. And LOL @ the Obama skit, that shit brought back awesome memories of the Bill Clinton one from "Rap Life"
But I think the biggest problem with the album was filler material, a couple of the songs leave you thinking "didn't I hear this one already?" because some of the beats sounded incredibly generic. I'm not knocking the production, because there was some bangers on it, but I think Tash could've used a bit more diversity in the instrumental department.
To be 100% honest, I think once the hype factor wears off and you get over the fact that we haven't heard a solo album from him in a decade, the replay value probably won't be THAT high. Even upon the first time listening, I could tell I liked "Rap Life" better. That being said, it still does feel like a breath of fresh air, it's been way too damn long since we've heard that Likwit sound.
-
^Really? It did drop today but that's not good news :-\
-
Damn, well wtf? These assholes shouldve had this shit on the shelves.
I got a lil feature most likely coming tonight with the MathMadix about working on this album.
-
lookin forward to it.
this feature is off the mother fucking wall. I'm getting Knoc-turn'al to drop his parts on it tomorrow with the final touches, and will blast it out there right away, tomorrow for all y'all.
-
feeling 8 out of 17 tracks (skits don't count),that's under half so;
2.5/5
-
Going to definitely buy this
-
I am listening to it right now & so far the shit is kickin. I gotta get it to my truck to give it the bang test but I like the music and his rhymes are on Q.
Props to Tash on comin back.
