Yo, I know there's alot of y'all out there, so I just wonderin'.. how many of y'all are into Canadian hip-hop? I always kinda ignored the hip-hop scene here in Canada, but I been gettin' into it latley. It's nice to see some of our mothafuckas gettin' recognized in the States, like Kardinal Offishall and Jellestone. Thing is, I don't know about alot of underground acts outside where I live (Calgary), Y'all know any dope underground mothafuckas I should peep?
If there's any non-Canadians readin' this and want to hear some ill shit from Canada check these out:
Ghetto Concept Featuring The 7 Bill$ All-Stars - Still Too Much (Remix)
Kardinal Offishall - Bakardi Slang
Kardinal Offishall - Husslin'
Kardinal Offishall Featuring IRS, Wio-K & Jully Black - Ol' Time Killin'
Jellestone - Money Pt. 1 (Peep if you like Warren G ;))
Maestro - Stick To Your Vision
Maestro - U Got Da Best
The Rascalz Featuring Kaos & Barrington Levy - All Over The World
Really, y'all should check us out.. we ain't no joke, dont hate.. lots of Canadian hip-hop sounds identical to American hip-hop (like Ghetto Concept and Maestro), but some has it's own style like Kardinal Offishall.. he sorta mixes rap and raggae, dope shit. Saukratees is another Canadian MC (he has a track on the How High Soundtrack) that's ill. He's signed to Redman's record label.
By the way, I heard Kardi is gonna do a track with Kurupt in the near future.

Some more tracks I forgot to mention:
Swollen Members Featuring Moka Only - Fuel Injected
Baby Blue Soundcrew Featuring Choclair & Mista Mims - Love 'Em All
Choclair - Let's Ride
The Rascalz Featuring Checkmate, Choclair, Thrust & Kardinal Offishall - Northern Touch
If any of y'all remember Maestro Fresh Wes from the late 80's-early 90's (Let Your Backbone Slide), he's the same Maestro I was talkin' 'bout before, still doin' his thing.
Another little thing, the video director Little X is Canadian, too.
Just feel like representin' for my country today.

Haha, sorry dogg, the French-Canadian rap scene don't make alot of noise out West, but I'll check 'em out.
Also, I'm tryin' to remember the name of a Checkmate song.. in the video he's all decked out in army gear and he's fightin' in a war.. actually I think it's his only solo video.. know what I'm talkin about?
